If you want something light to get you through this month, but still want to get lost in a good love story, this is the graphic novel for you.

It’s beautiful cover is just a first glimpse at the love story of vampire Elsie and werewolf Jimmy. This is the story of how they meet and how their supernatural relationship blooms. It’s crisp and simple artwork beautifully compliments the real life problems of ancient vampires and werewolves, which can be fascinating, funny, and heartwarming all at once.

From discussing past lovers, to consent in the bedroom (oh la la) we get to have a glimpse into the life of these two fictional beings. I would honestly love to see more of their story as I found I finished the novel too quickly! I highly recommend this read, even if you’re not normally a graphic novel fan.
